  2013 Terry Huang
School: University of Washington
Field of study: Terry is a 2011 graduate of the University of Washington with a major in Plant Biology. He has completed internships at the University of Washington Botanic Gardens in Seattle and the Smithsonian Gardens in Washington, DC. His ultimate dream is to work where botany, horticulture and design overlap – a career he is willing and able to cultivate.
 
  2012 Danielle Lynn Ballweg
School: University of Wisconsin
Field of study: Graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture. She will be in England for ten months traveling, studying and working at a variety of placements including the RHS gardens and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.

  2011 Ellen Woods
School: Cornell University
Field of study: A graduate of Cornell University with a BS in Plant Sciences, will spend ten months in Great Britain where she plans to study at the Millennium Seed Bank Project and use photography as a scientific outreach tool.
 
  2008 Edward J. Miles
School: Welsh College of Horticulture
Field of study: GCA Interchange Fellow. He is from Edinburgh, Scotland, graduated from the Welsh College of Horticulture and is currently at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh and the Scottish Agricultural College, BSc (Hons) Horticulture and Plantsmanship. He will study further in horticulture at Cornell University,NY.
 
  2006 Kristin DeSouza
School: University of Massachusetts
Field of study: Landscape Architecture and Horticulture.
Project location: RBG Kew, University of Sheffield, RHS Wisley Gardens, RBG Edinburgh and Eden Project.
 
    2005 Grace Chapman
School: University of Florida
Field of study: Horticulture: Plans to study plant conservation techniques and methods of public education associated with plant conservation. BS in Environmental Horticulture, specializing in Public Garden Management.
