As a graduate student she would like to apply her experience from this project to her understanding of limestone croppings in her native state of Texas. |

2012 Holly Ann Lindberg School: University of Tennessee Field of study: A junior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Her plan is to travel to Atenas, Costa Rica, to attend a four-week study session focusing on sustaining tropical ecosystems: biodiversity, conservation, and development. 2012 Patrick Thomas Oelschlager School: Juanita College Field of study: A sophomore at Juniata College, majoring in Environmental Science and will conduct bull trout (Salvelinus confluentus) population research and habitat modification with the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He will study populations in south east Oregon and determine the impact of habitat modification on their ability to compete successfully with invasive species. |
