General Clinton B. Fisk Park - Garden Club of Nashville

We will work with The Nashville Tree Foundation to source 150 trees that will be appropriate for the park at the most reasonable cost. We estimate being able to purchase 90 - 1.5” caliper, balled and burlapped trees at a cost of $95 each, including mulch and delivery, and 60 five gallon trees at a cost of $25 each.

Our goal is to maximize the amount of our contribution that could be spent on plant material because dollars we spend on plants have the potential to be matched. Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program (TAEP) funds provide a 1:1 match for trees planted on public lands. If we were also able to obtain a TAEP grant, we might also afford larger trees and native shrubs to attract
pollinators.
