Atlanta Community Schoolyards - Polinator Project At Dobbs Elementary School

Cherokee will help with the removal of Dobbs Elementary school yard’s invasive species plants and replant with Georgia native plants as a part of its transformation into an accessible neighborhood public park focusing on pollinators and their habitat. The Trust for Public Land, in partnership with Atlanta Public Schools, Park Pride, and Urban Land Institute, is reimagining this Dobb Elementary schoolyard for public use during non-school hours so that neighbors can enjoy the benefits of a well-designed park within a 10-minute walk of home.
