Keney Park

An important goal of this project is to develop a model for restoring native, pollinator-attractive plantings in a design that is historically and environmentally sound and appropriate, while responsibly managing invasive and/or rare and endangered species in the focus area. In an ongoing effort at the Barbour Street entrance, The Garden Club of Hartford is already working to identify native and rare plants for preservation and invasive ones for removal.  For more detailed information, please go to gchartford.org .
