Bee Successful: The 4g Honey Team

Unwelcome bees on the loading dock of the Ozarka water bottling plant in Hawkins, TX gave four inexperienced high school students the chance to help–and become–the 4G Honey Team in the process. Building hives to relocate the colony, they gained skills that attracted national attention and inquiries from schools in Texas and beyond. The Founders Fund grant will provide equipment and materials to build an observational hive and create beekeeping curriculum to share nationwide.
