Trailside Museums and Zoo in Bear Mountain State Park

The worn plantings and invasive shrubs around the Trailside Museums site do not meet the goal of showcasing local flora and native plant communities. The project aims to renovate garden spaces by removing invasive plants, amending soil, and creating planting to show native shrubs and perennials. Different habitat areas will provide varied shrubs and perennials to support wildlife throughout the year. Interpretive signs will inform visitors of the diverse natural history of the area.
