Bonnie Drexler

Bonnie has served as the Program Coordinator in charge of children's education for the New England Wild Flower Society for 11 years. Each year, she has recruited an average of 2,500 students to cross the doorstep of the Society's public garden, Garden in the Woods. She organizes woorkshops covering botany, geology, natural history and horticulture as well as large events such as "Animal Ambrassadors" and "Earth Day Celebration." She emphasizes observation skills and attempts to install a child's enjoyment into the pursuit of understanding nature. Proposed by Noanett Garden Club, Zone I
