Native Plant Propagation & Public Education Garden

Working with the Franklin Park Borough, The Village Garden Club of Sewickley (VGC) will develop a native pollinator garden on public property that will provide: habitat for native bees and other insects; seeds and plant material for plant propagation; the opportunity to educate school children and the public about plant propagation and the importance of native pollinator habitats; and a living model of an attractive and valuable alternative to traditional monoculture grass lawn.
