Lighthouse Wildflower Trail Garden Renovation

The Garden Club of Evanston’s renovation of the Lighthouse Wildflower Trail Garden will restore the native habitat of this public park to its original 1937 plan by Jens Jensen, the Midwest’s preeminent pioneer in wildflower landscape design. This will involve propagating and replanting native species, removing invasive plants, and developing an education program for GCE members to learn how to inventory and maintain a wildflower garden.
