Dean Fleischman teaches at Pine Jog Elementary School in West Palm Beach, situated on a natural habitat spanning 150 acres. His years of dedicated environmental education have inspired children to cherish and care for their environment through innovative, place-based learning experiences. Dean's teaching approach utilizes the school's unique setting to create immersive educational opportunities that connect classroom concepts with real ecological systems. By engaging students in habitat exploration, conservation projects, and sustainable practices, he develops their understanding of environmental relationships and human impacts.
