Nominated by a member of Garden Club of Denver
For a decade, Deborah Foy has been a tireless volunteer in Boulder, Colorado, dedicated to educating youth about pollinators' vital importance. Her programs inspire children to explore nature, develop appreciation for bees, and engage actively with the natural world. Deborah designs hands-on learning experiences that make pollinator ecology accessible and exciting for young people, fostering deeper understanding of these essential species and their environmental roles. Through beekeeping demonstrations, garden activities, and habitat creation projects, she connects children directly with pollinator conservation.
