Dr. Joseph Gaydos has dedicated 20 years at SeaDoc Society to marine conservation in the Pacific Northwest's Salish Sea. As Science Director for this University of California Davis-affiliated program, he combines rigorous research with passionate educational outreach to inspire youth. Dr. Gaydos creates engaging learning experiences that connect young people with marine ecosystems, helping them understand complex ecological relationships and human impacts on ocean health. Through field studies, citizen science projects, and innovative curriculum, he makes marine science accessible and exciting for students of all ages.
