Wolf River Greenway - Epping Way Section

The overall purpose of constructing the Wolf River Greenway is to increase our citizens exposure and awareness of the Wolf River, so one can fathom the crucial role it plays in all our lives. Aside from providing conserved greenspace for recreation, the Epping Way property is becoming the educational jewel along the Greenway. The Conservancy is currently in the stages of planing educational outdoor classroom opportunities with partners such as Memphis City Schools and other charter schools in the area. Tree plantings to establish an arboretum have already begun; however, further plantings are needed to increase conservation values and outdoor education opportunities.
