“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”
— Rachel Carson, recipient of the GCA's 1952 Frances K. Hutchinson Medal

It takes time and effort from many volunteers to organize a flower show. From the chair, to the division committees, the passers to the judges, the tech team to the entrants—each individual contributes to the final experience for visitors.
Upcoming Flower Shows64
64 GCA-sponsored and club flower shows were held last year.
868
From candidates to approved judges, there are 868 active volunteers in the GCA’s Judging Program.
1000s
Thousands of floral design, horticulture, photography, botanical arts, conservation, and education exhibits each year.
The Creative Arts
Garden club members showcase the beauty of the natural world.
The creative arts are a powerful vehicle to promote the GCA’s mission: “Bringing clubs together to cultivate the bond among people, plants, and the environment”. Floral design, photography, and the botanical arts offer opportunities for members to share information, broaden knowledge, provide inspiration, and demonstrate talents.
