Chris Giftos is best known for his 33 years as Manager of Special Events at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City. In that capacity he created the large - scale seasonal floral arrangements in the Great Hall. He was also responsible for the overall design of countless openings, parties and other events at the museum. He is the author of Bouquets From The Met and has been a frequent guest on television shows including Oprah and Martha Stewart. He has been and continues to be a featured speaker at GCA clubs across the country. He is a resident of Woodbury, CT where he generously volunteers his time and talents and where his beautiful garden delights visitors.
