Executive Director, Ohio Biological Survey. As a former chief within the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, Guy Denny was responsible for the state's natural areas and scenic river programs. He helped forge partnerships with both public and private entities to achieve the goal of protecting Ohio's natural resources. Retiring after 33 years of service, he is still an active naturalist, lecturer, and writer. He is Secretary/Treasurer of the Outdoor Writers of Ohio, and as a well-known conservationist, serves on numerous boards. His special interests include gardening with native plants; especially prairie species. He participates in many GCA Zone X activities. Member since 2002.
