Harold M. Pellett

Dr. Pellett was a University Professor who taught and conducted research on adapted landscape plant materials in cold hardiness, culture and physiology of landscape plants and breeding and evaluation of plants. He has now begun his second career by establishing the Landscape Plant Development Center at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and working with colleagues to develop superior plants that are environmentally tolerant. Dr. Pellett has won the Garden Club of America's Medal of Honor in 200l and the Arthur Hoyt Scott Medal in 2011. Member since 2010.
