Kenneth Cochran has devoted a lifetime to furthering landscape and horticultural excellence, first as owner/manager of a landscape business, then as Professor at Ohio State University, as Coordinator of Program at the Agricultural Technical Institute, and as Curator and Director of Secrest Arboretum, part of Ohio State University in Wooster, Ohio. Under his expert supervision, Secrest Arboretum has become the world's largest non-formal education system by showcasing garden displays with solutions designed to aid visitors, municipalities and institutions in the selection of appropriate plants for sustainable landscapes. He is an authority in the field of horticulture and has authored an extensive list of articles for numerous publications. In 2016, Mr. Cochran's won The Ohio State University's Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Alumni Award for outstanding service to the college. He is currently Director of Ministry of Food Services, at Canaveral Port Ministries, a charitable outreach program in Cape Canaveral, FL. Honorary Member since 2011.
