Mildred Pinnell Fockele

Mildred has been at the Atlanta Botanical Garden for 29 years. She is currently the Director of the Atlanta Botanical Garden Gainesville and the VP of Horticulture of the Atlanta Botanical Garden. She directs the operations of the newly opened garden in Gainesville as well as directs the outdoor gardens and plant collections at both locations. Mildred is a recipient of the GCA Interchange Fellowship in 1986. She was elected the "Young Professional of the Year, Georgia Green Industry" in 1993. She is a regular speaker at local and regional garden symposia and has published professional articles in national publications. Member since 2004.
