Every year, The Garden Club of America offers 28 merit-based scholarships and fellowships. Last year, the GCA awarded over $300,000 in grants to young scholars around the country whose work ranges from the study of coastal botany to landscape design.
We’re pleased to be working with Seed Your Future, a national movement to promote horticulture education and careers, which has just announced the launch of a new online career exploration resource. It includes a listing of horticulture jobs as well as scholarships and fellowships offered by the GCA and others.
Details about GCA scholarships and application procedures can be found here. And you can read profiles of our scholars here.
SeedYourFuture.org/careers is designed to serve as a digital hub for all horticulture career information. Visitors to the site can find job descriptions, educational requirements, data about salaries, and engaging videos of people in horticulture careers spanning art, science, technology and the business of horticulture.
