Known also as Snakebark Maple, this small under story tree is graceful and broadly upright. It grows in well-drained, acidic forest soil. The three lobed leaves emerge pink in the spring, become dark green in the summer, followed by bright yellow in the fall. It has a distinctive green and white striped bark. Grows to 40’H x 30’W.
