2019 The Garden Club of America Montine M. Freeman Scholarship in Native Plant Studies
Adrian Tenney is a master’s student in landscape architecture at California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. Her work focuses on increasing public awareness and understanding of the environmental and financial benefits of using native plants in landscape design. She is developing an educational public workshop series that will demonstrate how to apply native plants to conventional garden design to encourage ecological sustainability as a shared cultural value in Southern California communities.
