2013 The Garden Club of America Scholarship in Garden History and Design at the Archives of American Gardens
Audrey Abrams is a student at Simmons College, Boston, in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science with a concentration in archives management. She became interested in archival studies through internships at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Archive of the American Academy of Arts, where she worked with the More Product/Less Process (MPLP) technique to process 40 linear feet of documents and photographs of deceased members of the Academy. Audrey looks forward to working with uncommon materials like glass lantern and 35 mm slides that are part of the GCA collection.

To encourage the study of garden history and design and, if possible, aid in cataloging The Garden Club of America Collection in the Archives of American Gardens (AAG) at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
