2015 The Frances M. Peacock Scholarship for Native Bird Habitat

Auriel Fournier is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Arkansas Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit at the University of Arkansas. Her research project studies the migration ecology of rails, a secretive marsh bird. She will use stable isotopes from their feathers to assess their migratory connectivity between their breeding grounds in the northern United States and Canada and their migratory habitat in Missouri using both stable isotopes and eBird data.
