2020 The Corliss Knapp Engle Scholarship in Horticulture
Sustainable Agriculture
Brian Curley is an undergraduate pursuing his associate of science degree in sustainable horticulture from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is entering his fifth season with a small family-owned chain of retail garden centers north of Boston and will be doing an internship with them in their new greenhouses to grow nursery stock that will be sold at all three of their locations. He enjoys helping customers find the right plants for their landscape and hopes to continue his education in this field after receiving his degree.
