Jamie McArdle is a master’s student in Landscape Architecture at the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and the Environment. She previously worked in healthcare and is a licensed social worker. She is interested in exploring the relationship between people and their environments, especially the natural environment. She is studying how designed spaces can promote human well-being while improving ecological functioning with aesthetic appeal. She is also interested in restorative and healing spaces, green infrastructure, and recreation designs.
