2015 The Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarships in Horticulture
Jeffrey Holzer is a senior at Pennsylvania State University earning his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with two minors in Geography and Environmental Inquiry with a focus in Biodiversity and Ecosystems. In addition to his studies, he is a horticulture intern at The Arboretum at Penn State and serves on the College of Arts and Architecture Student Council and University Park Undergraduate Association. While serving as facilities chair of the Undergraduate Association, he parlayed his interest in landscape architecture and horticulture into actionable recommendations for improvements to the university’s public places. He also secured funding for a green roof on the student center.
