Soybean Flower Traits That Attract Effective Pollinators
Current research suggests pollinators visit soybean flowers in intensively managed fields which may result in additional crop yield due to enhanced pollination. Soybean flower traits such as nectar quality, quantity, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and color likely attract native bees. Overall, expected results support the importance of native bee conservation, as they support humans globally through influencing soybean yield which sustains the everlasting necessity of food production.
