2015 The Garden Club of America Awards for Summer Environmental Studies
Landon Edwards is a junior pursuing degrees in Biology and Sustainable Agriculture at Warren Wilson College in North Carolina. This summer she will be traveling to Missoula, Montana, to conduct research on invasive weed species control methods. In conjunction with Morgan Valliant of Missoula Parks and Recreation, she will be examining the relationship between native and invasive plant species phenology and sheep grazing preference as part of a continuing effort to use sheep as weed control.
