Rachel Beck rom Cupertino, CA, is a junior at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. Her research will be conducted in the Dancing Rabbit ecovillage in Missouri. Ecovillages, whose strengths and weakness have been evaluated worldwide, are intentional communities that strive to live in an environmentally sustainable way. She will participate in tours, workshops and the collection of data. Rachel is committed to putting environmental studies and policy together to make a difference. Her research project will be presented in the Eckerd Scholar.
