2025 The Garden Club of America Hope Goddard Iselin Fellowship in Public Horticulture
Wolrd Cultural Kitchen Culinary Garden
During the summer of 2025, myself and a colleague will implement a revised version of Design Phase 1 of the World Cultural Kitchen Culinary Garden. Material sourcing, earthwork, and planting will be performed, creating several distinct garden beds planted with non-European herbs and culinary plants. Garden beds of various sizes, including a proposed wetland bed, will be constructed with reclaimed material. Testing of water reuse will be implemented through drainage connection to the existing adjacent World Cultural Kitchen structure.

To further the study of public horticulture through experiential learning that takes place at a recognized public garden, botanic garden, arboretum, or other closely aligned public horticulture institution within the United States.
