The GCA’s Position Papers are jointly produced by the GCA's National Affairs & Legislation and Conservation committees. The Position Papers summarize issues that are of top priority to The Garden Club of America. The GCA reviews the Position Papers every two years.
The Bulletin is the GCA's oldest publication. Originally established in 1913, the Bulletin is a print publication, produced seasonally and distributed to all members of GCA clubs. Club members may login to the Members Area to read the most recent and all issues of the Bulletin. Articles frequently include news from GCA member clubs around the country and reports from meetings of national committees, zones and the GCA annual meeting.
Each digitally available annual report of The Garden Club of America begins with a letter from the GCA president highlighting the year's accomplishments, followed by narrative sections conveying the collective impact of the GCA across the country, highlighting the work of the GCA’s national committees, Executive Board, zones, clubs, and Headquarters staff.
The GCA offers 29 merit-based scholarships in the 12 areas of botany, coastal wetlands studies, conservation and ecological restoration, desert studies, garden history and design, horticulture, international study, landscape architecture, native bird habitat, pollinator research, summer environmental studies, and urban forestry.
